isn't it interesting (mildly) that



Vaseline and Baseline don't rhyme?

I'm just saying that it's okay to spend 2 seconds thinking about it, that's all.

Courtesy of your nerdy English teacher friend, it's called an "eye rhyme"-- words that look alike but don't sound alike. Love/move. Through/enough. Mallet/ballet. Laughter/daughter. Maybe I'll use vaseline/baseline the next time I teach that lesson!
